Dr. Tammy Lenski teaches individuals and groups how to unclutter complicated conflict, use it to boost creative problem-solving, and build dynamic workplace teams not by avoiding conflict, but engaging it effectively.

In private practice since 1997, Tammy specializes in helping work teams and business partners transform states of conflict into brighter futures, and in helping individuals change the way they react to interpersonal conflict.

Tammy taught mediation and conflict management for many years as a core faculty member of Woodbury College’s highly regarded graduate degree in mediation and applied conflict studies and was an integral part of the curriculum development team for the program. She presently serves as Woodbury trainer.

Her book, Making Mediation Your Day Job: How to Market Your ADR Business Using Mediation Principles You Already Know, was released in February 2008 and is available at all major online booksellers.

She holds a B.A. in Literary Studies with honors from Middlebury College, Master’s (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degrees from The University of Vermont, and a post-bac Certificate in Mediation & Conflict Management from Woodbury College.

A former college dean and vice president, Tammy’s served on New England Resource Center for Higher Education’s think tanks, the NH Supreme Court ADR Committee, NH Conflict Resolution Association Board, New England Association for Conflict Resolution Board, the NH Probate Courts Mediation Panel, SquareTrade’s panel of eBay mediators, and numerous higher education association boards. She’s published in both higher education and conflict resolution journals and has presented nationally at higher education and conflict resolution conferences.
