U.K.-based graphic and design consultant David Airey is one of the terrific folks contributing their services or product for my book launch virtual party.
David first came on my radar screen a couple of years ago when someone forwarded me a link to The Graffiti Project on Kelburn Castle, a video he’d posted on his blog. The video captured my interest and I liked his professional informative site, so I subscribed to his blog. When I needed some graphic design work recently, I turned to David because I sensed he had a winning combo of two characteristics I wanted: Creative, clean designs and excellent communication. Reading his blog for two years had proven David to me on both counts and his design work for me was fabulous (more coming on this in a few weeks).
What else should you know about David? For those of you thinking about blogging as part of your mediation marketing strategy, David’s blog is a superb example of small business blogging at its best: He gives of himself unselfishly, provides real value to his readers, and successfully conveys who he is and how he works through his blogging.
Much of David’s work centers on creating and consulting on marketing promotions, including corporate identity (logos and business stationery) and advertising campaigns (brochures, etc.), so he’s a terrific resource to the lucky drawing winner who gets David’s design consultation. David will offer the winner “an honest and thorough appraisal of your corporate identity and how it ties in with your online presence,” a consultation valued at $100 US.
