About the Organizers
Dr. Tammy Lenski is a mediator and conflict management consultant who has built consensus, created alignment in organizational teams, and resolved complex multi-party disputes for more than two decades. A former college vice president, she founded Tammy Lenski LLC, a conflict management consulting firm serving organizations worldwide, in 1997. Tammy’s award-winning book, Making Mediation Your Day Job, was published in 2008 and her articles, advice, and interviews have been featured in numerous media outlets, including Redbook, Monster.com, WMUR/ABC News, ACResolution, and two textbooks. Tammy has served on numerous dispute resolution boards and panels, founded and co-hosts Cafe Mediate, and taught and developed curriculum for two conflict management graduate programs in the U.S. She has recently assumed the role of editorial board chair for the Association for Conflict Resolution’s ACResolution magazine.
Amanda Bucklow is a commercial mediator, educator and negotiation consultant based in London, England. An early-bird in the UK mediation world, Amanda had already been using mediation skills in her business life as an international sales manager / trader, marketing director and negotiation consultant before “discovering” that there was a name for her instinctive business style. She has pioneered the use of mediation in all guises, authored early research in the skills of mediators and is highly regarded for her success in putting mediation into business and business into mediation.
