October conflict resolution workshop

French anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss once said, “The wise man doesn’t give the right answers, he poses the right questions.” I’m going to be teaching a public conflict resolution workshop on the art of asking the right questions at the right time to transform conflict at work and home…and I hope you’ll come.

Save the Date

The Art of Inquiry: How to Transform Conflict with the Right Questions

What: Public workshop with Tammy Lenski
When: October 12, 2012, 9:00 – 3:00
Where: Peterborough, NH

Why a workshop on questions? Questions are some of the most powerful tools in anyone’s conflict resolution toolbox — if you know how to handle them well. Questions engage. They stimulate creativity, get problems unstuck, and transform negotiations. Handled poorly, questions can turn people off, close them down, and escalate high-heat moments.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know how to achieve the former and avoid the latter?

This workshop is for anyone who wants to know the best ways to use questions to transform conflict. If you want to use questions better in your own disagreements and negotiations at work or home, this workshop is for you. If you’re charged with helping resolve others’ conflicts — mediator, conflict coach, HR professional, manager — this workshop is for you, too.

Full registration information will be available in about a month. I’d so appreciate your sharing this Save the Date announcement with friends, colleagues, and family!
