Today ACR released a board-approved draft of Model Standards for Certification Programs.
The draft has been released for comment and you can access the document whether or not you’re an ACR member.
You should read it. It’s ground-breaking in its approach to a challenging issue that has nipped at the heels of our profession for years, and it’s the work of several smart, experienced folks whose minds and work I admire greatly — they’ve been wrestling this baby for months and months and it’s time to step up to the conversation ourselves.
I’m still digesting my own first read of it while on the road and know I’ll be revisiting the document for more pondering.
