simply better ways to negotiate and resolve conflict

I’m giving away three conflict coaching slots

I just reached a milestone: Since I founded my conflict resolution firm I have now consulted, coached, mediated with, taught, or presented to over 35,000 people.

I’ve kept an informal tally running since I opened the doors and with my return from speaking to the Arkansas Conflict Resolution Association (a totally delightful group of folks), I realized I’d hit a lovely new number.

I’m ready to celebrate. So I have an offer for you, something we both benefit from doing together. I’m giving away three private conflict coaching slots for the month of June; each slot provides four 1-hour telephone sessions.

What do you get out of it, if you’re chosen?

  • The chance to address a conflict that’s in the way of your joy or career success
  • The chance to learn leading-edge conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • One-on-one guidance from a seasoned pro

What do I get? I’ve been developing a new conflict resolution approach over recent years and have been working hard to organize, describe and put the right language to it. I’ve used the approach successfully with countless clients over the past decade, but only now have I attempted to “package” it in a succinct way. I’m looking to test the language I’ve created with three new clients — one of them could be you.

Could you be a top candidate?

I’ll be selecting three from the group who applies. Top candidates will probably share these characteristics:

  • Have schedules that permit them to commit to one-hour telephone coaching conversations during the Eastern Daylight Time business hours on June 7, 14, 21, 28.
  • Have a conflict situation or ongoing tension with a specific person with whom they’re in ongoing relationship (spouse, partner, colleague, supervisor, friend, etc).
  • Enjoy learning new things and experimenting with them in life and work.
  • Live in the U.S. Sorry, international readers, I’m making this particular offer to U.S. residents only. There may be a future opportunity for those of you in other parts of the world.
  • Not a family member, friend, or close colleague of mine.

Did I just describe you? Then head on over to the online application and submit yours by midnight EDT on May 12, 2011: Special Coaching Application
